September remained a slower month for home sales across Hamilton–Burlington–Haldimand–Niagara North. The market recorded 635 home sales, down 4.7% from August and 18.7% from September 2025.
At the same time, new listings increased sharply from the previous month. There were 1,716 new listings, up 29.8% month over month, although still 22.0% below last September.
The MLS® Home Price Index was $718,600, down 1.3% from August and 5.1% year over year. Months of supply increased from 4.4 to 4.6 months, giving buyers slightly more choice heading into the fall market.
