SO THANKFUL!
October is one of our most favorite months of the year. The leaves begin to change colour, the weather cools, and the holiday season has us preparing for family get togethers.
We call it the Thank You Month. It gives us an extra opportunity to say Thank You for being a valuable part of our business success. As many begin to prepare for the Holiday season, planning Thanksgiving get-togethers and the like, it’s easy to become wrapped up in all we have to do to ensure a fun, joyful time and overlook the many things to be thankful for. We find gratitude is an attitude that is contagious!
We are also so thankful that we get to make a difference in the lives of children in our community through our mission with CityKidz of Hamilton. While we get to enjoy great feasts over the holiday season, many in our community are not as fortunate. In fact, over 1,500 kids in Hamilton go hungry every weekend.
We are so thankful that with your help, we can raise $10,000 to donate to CityKidz, they are constantly striving to offer kids amazing programs that not only provide them with a warm meal but so much more.
Our hearts break for many young people and families who will not be able to enjoy this fun time of the year due to poverty. Not being able to afford every day meals, let alone a Thanksgiving feast.
As you know, tragedy falls on many in this life. Tragedies like sickness, loss of job, and other unfortunate circumstances. We must do what we can to help kids whose family situations prevent them from experiencing the joy and abundance we can provide.
That’s why we are still on a mission to raise $10,000 for CityKidz of Hamilton.
We do this by donating a portion of our income from homes we sell. You may have heard that CityKidz does great work in helping kids living in poverty. CityKidz exist to increase resiliency and inspire BIG dreams for Canadian children living in low-income communities by providing inspirational experiences and nurturing personal relationships, one child at a time.
We want to help the fulfill their BIG DREAM of one day, in the not so distant future, to see the end of child poverty in Canada and every child to have equal opportunity to thrive, to dream big and to reach their full potential. BUT, CityKidz depends on Sponsorships and Donations.

We wanted to give back to our community and felt that it would be a great opportunity to help out. We felt that by investing our time and money with the CityKidz organization, we could help families in our community.
We are amazed at what CityKidz does for the children in the Hamilton area. The volunteers at CityKidz reach out to over 2000 children every week. These volunteers know them by name, their birthdays and make sure that they get a meal every Saturday and Sunday. The volunteers understand that the situation at home is not always good. They give these children a chance to grow and thrive to achieve their dreams. So, they give these children a chance. They learn that they are important and are instilled with Christian values. Through the input by our Team supporting this organization, we are investing in a different outcome for these children. We know that when children are invested in they start learning that they have someone in their corner and we can break the cycle of poverty.
These Kidz can grow up to be leaders in our community. We don’t want any child left behind. We don’t want any families left behind. We know that the quality of our community comes down to the basics of investing in the Kidz and investing into our community.
