The stresses and deprivations of poverty affect children in their homes, their schools, their communities, and their hearts.
Poverty denies opportunities and undermines childhood development in ways that put children at a disadvantage in so many critical aspects of their lives. It makes it difficult for them to achieve their full potential and break the cycle of poverty for future generations.
In response to COVID-19, CityKidz launched new projects with the goal of supporting the well-being of children in the CityKidz community through the provision of practical resources, relational connections, and inspirational programming.
Citykidz Cares Projects
Family Meal Kits
CityKidz delivers monthly Family Meal Kits to 650 households in our community. Each kit contains a recipe and all the fresh and non-perishable ingredients for a wholesome, balanced meal that families can prepare and enjoy together.
The hope is that this alleviates some of the food insecurity that many families are experiencing.
Care Kits
Seeing the struggles so many CityKidz families experience, last year CityKidz started delivering personalized Care Kits to families in crisis.
Our hope was to fulfill practical needs, remind families that they are loved, and create more time for faith, hope, love, and family.

Over the past few years, we have donated a portion of our time and money into helping CityKidz. However, we do not just want to stop there! Each year we want to ramp up our donations.
