October is one of our most favorite months of the year. The leaves begin to change colour, the weather cools, and the holiday season has us preparing for how we are going to do family gatherings this year.
We like to call October the Thank You Month. This year, we are counting our Blessings more than ever and we have so much to be Thankful for. As many begin to prepare for the Holiday season, such as, planning for what Thanksgiving get-togethers will be like this year with the people that really matter in our lives. It’s easy to become wrapped up in all we have to do to ensure a safe, fun, joyful time but we must not overlook the many things to be thankful for. We find gratitude is an attitude that is contagious!

We are also so thankful that we get to make a difference in the lives of children in our community through our mission with CityKidz. While we get to enjoy great feasts over the holiday season, many in our community are not as fortunate. In fact, over 2,000 kids in Hamilton go hungry every weekend and are not living in safe and healthy conditions.
With your help, we are on a mission to raise $20,000 to donate to CityKidz. They are constantly striving to offer the children in our community in need, amazing programs that not only provide them with a warm meal but so much more.
Our hearts break for many young people and families who will not be able to enjoy this fun time of the year due to their current living conditions or their family simply not having enough money to afford dinner every day of the week?
Pandemic life has been especially tough on those in our community who were already experiencing poverty and struggling to get by. The emotional, economic and psychological burdens of the pandemic have hit our CityKidz children and families hard.
This fall, our gifts will make it possible for CityKidz make weekly visits with deliveries of food, treats, activities and, most importantly, hope to over 1,200 children from 680 families who are part of the CityKidz community. During this extraordinary time, we must be thankful for the important things in our life.
Our Real Estate Team has committed to doing what we can to help our community and we do this by donating a portion of our income from the homes we sell to CityKidz with our mission to raise $20,000 this year! Our Team has also committed to raising awareness of the amazing work CityKidz does for impoverished children in our community.
